“I soldiered on.” In this episode, Jane Turner and FBI whistleblower Theresa Foley continue their conversation about Foley’s powerful, tragic whistleblower story. Foley talks about the pain and suffering she has gone through due to medical issues stemming from leptospirosis, a disease she contracted while stationed in Guantanamo Bay. Foley describes her fight to obtain some kind of relief from the agency that turned its back on her and the pain she continues to experience on a daily basis. She also talks about what the future holds for her and the support systems that have been important to her over the years.
This is the second part of the Foley episode: listen to the first part here.
