Washington, D.C. December 14, 2015. The National Law Journal named Stephen M. Kohn, executive director of the Washington, D.C. based whistleblower advocacy group the National Whistleblower Center to its inaugural list of 50 “White Collar Crime Trailblazers.” The attorneys selected have accomplishments which “place them at the highest rung of advancing litigation strategy.” As noted by the publisher, those named to the list have “shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way” and “are making a big difference.”

“The ‘Trailblazers and Pioneers’ list is a who’s who of the litigation professionals going above and beyond the norm, and bringing about meaningful change through their work,” said Kenneth Gary, vice president and group publisher of the National Law Journal. “The pool of nominees is incredibly strong and these 50 winners are truly models of innovation in the legal community.” In addition, Mr. Gary stated that Mr. Kohn and his fellow honorees “continue to make their mark in white collar criminal litigation.”

Mr. Kohn’s profile was featured in a special Trailblazers supplement on December 14, 2015. The profile notes Mr. Kohn’s “future explorations” as blazing a trail on the international stage where countries around the world model laws after the US whistleblower laws stating: “As corporations expand around the world, employees in Africa, Asia, China, Europe and Russia need similar incentives and protections to promote exposures of wrongdoing as the United States laws provide potential whistleblowers.”
