In this Whistleblower of the Week episode, Jane Turner speaks with leading whistleblower attorney Stephen M. Kohn. They delve into the termination of Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger and the lawsuit he filed in response to his abrupt firing. Kohn is a co-founder and the board chairman at the National Whistleblower Center and a founding partner at Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto, LLP.

Recorded before Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s March 1st decision to grant Dellinger a Preliminary Injunction, Kohn discusses the unprecedented nature of Dellinger’s termination and how the decision threatens the political independence of the Office of Special Counsel. He also discusses the potential implications of the anticipated decision on whistleblowers’ rights.

In response to the Special Counsel’s wrongful termination, the National Whistleblower Center has launched a significant campaign. We must all join together to urge politicians to protect the only office charged with investigating federal whistleblower reports and protecting them from retaliation. Take action today by contacting your Representatives and Senators. Your voice can make a real difference.
