The Scope of Transnational Jurisdiction

There many powerful U.S. whistleblower laws that cover transnational crime such as money laundering, foreign bribery, securities or commodities fraud, and crimes against wildlife or the environment. This part of the webinar aims to provide clarity on these laws.

How Awards are Evaluated

Awards to whistleblowers are a percentage of the total amounts recovered in a succesful enforcement action. Each program has their own award percentage ranges (e.g., between 15 and 30 percent). The award percentage amount is determined by many factors, which we’ll discuss in this part of the webinar.
