Whistleblower Network News invites whistleblowers to publicly endorse the Campaign to Make National Whistleblower Day Permanent.
The campaign to make National Whistleblower Day permanent is organized by and for whistleblowers. If there is ever going to be real structural change, then it is going to come from us! At its core, making National Whistleblower Day permanent is about changing the culture around whistleblowers. Recognition from President Biden, and a mandate for federal agencies to make their employees aware of their rights to blow the whistle, will not serve as a silver bullet for all of the problems that whistleblowers face. It will, however, take us a step in the right direction toward our goal of elevating the heroism of whistleblowers.

"We have to ensure that whistleblowers are able to speak without fear of retaliation or loss of career, and that necessitates a culture change. President Biden must send a powerful message concerning whistleblowers, whom he has already noted are critical in the fight against corruption and who are essential for national security. This can be done by making National Whistleblower Day permanent through a Presidential Directive. It is time for whistleblowers to receive the justice and recognition they deserve.”
