Idaho Legislation Would Limit Damages in Whistleblower Cases to $370,000

An Idaho bill that would limit non-economic damages in whistleblower lawsuits to $370,000 headed to the state’s governor on Wednesday. The Idaho Senate voted 31-1 to pass the bill.

Those opposing the bill say the $370,000 limit would not deter bad actors, especially those in larger corporations, from retaliating.
