Senator Grassley Thanks Whistleblowers

On July 30, National Whistleblower Day, Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released a video on his YouTube channel in recognition of National Whistleblower Day in which he thanked whistleblowers for risking “their careers to bring about a better quality of government.”

National Whistleblower Day” commemorates the passage of the first ever whistleblower law in 1778, as well as the crucial role whistleblowers play in defending our nation from waste, fraud and abuse. Senator Grassley, who recently created the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus and serves as its Chairman, was one of two Keynote Speakers at an event hosted by the National Whistleblower Center held at the U.S. Senate’s Kennedy Caucus room to celebrate National Whistleblower Day.
